wild inspiration
As the height of summer is fading graciously into fall, I have been just floored by all the wonderful wild nature that is my surroundings. I took a few moments the other day to capture some of the great ditches on Pierce Road that have my heart fluttering as I driven past them in the last few weeks.
Summer is fun and great but fall and winter have this amazing depth. I've thought for so long I am definitely a spring kind of girl but the more I experience the seasons the more I am falling in love with each of them. In the fall the weather gets cool and ominous and gives me a relief from the busy spring and summer of preparations and production. The fall allows me to collect and slow down. Cool evenings draws the family under great wool blankets relaxing together on couches or around an open fire with warm drinks in hands. The fall reminds us to work together and gives preparation for the holidays and celebrating life.
I love the milkweed. It is so beautiful and delicate.
