<---up or down--->

Rainbow blossoming over the town's "quilt garden" dad snatched a photo of one rainy day.

The day began with a blanket of humidity disguising itself as fog.

That was pushed aside by at bit of thunder, lightening and rain.
Currently, as the evening has set in so has a new blanket of humidity.  The kind of stagnant, dog breath humidity that confuses you into not knowing whether you are coming or going.  I know, it's August in Indiana, what should I expect?
The weather has been so strange and fickle this year.  Last summer was very pleasant and humidity was contained to just a few days.  This year it set in with the month of June.
Believe it or not summer is coming to an end.

This fact is marked by the departure of brother Sam back for his fifth and final year (knock on wood) at Purdue University.  He is an RA so he moves in a little early for the year's preparations.
In a little less than two weeks Lewis and Zachary will return to high school and the constant barrage of activities that is their lives.

Josiah will depart back to Purdue in two and a half weeks time.

So, things will be quiet once more around the homestead.
I believe I have hit a slump, and much like the feeling the weather gives I cannot tell up from down any more.

If you should know: drop me a line.
