fortunes for cakes and cookies

Carol and I share our birthday cake every year.  Her 83rd birthday was yesterday and my 24th is today.  Triple layer chocolate cake (and ice cream for some) was enjoyed by all those around the coffee circle.

Both Miss Rs were there to celebrate with us.

At lunchtime my fortune cookie read as above.  I'd say it is an astute resolution.
