miss r's little ponies

Last week Miss R walked in the shop all a flutter.  She had two horses (one horse, one pony?) ready to be mamas.  It was with great pride that she showed me photos of one's great round belly.  It was with even more excitement that she called the shop phone Monday morning to tell they had arrived.  I hopped in my car and headed out to her place to meet the new babes.

This little girl is named Caye.

She is the product of her beautiful mother 

and a painted pony named Comanche.

This little boy is such a little scoundrel.  He made a game of running away from his mother, so now his umbilical cord had been reinstated via the halter he wears.

We think he looks like a little mule.  He needs to be named Burro.

Miss R and are taking a trip to Canada in a few weeks if she can pry herself away from these precious darlings.  That may be difficult.
