I love you because you laugh at us.  

Such was the occasion last week when Lewis threw the discus at the protecting cage at his track meet.  It's possible you were the first spectator to laugh.

This is also the case in any major argument we ever unjustly went on a tangent in.  You would look at us, square in the face, and say,

"You know you want to laugh."

At that point, there was no reason to go on.  With humor we were defeated in our dreadful, angsty teenage ravings.  Now, as adults (somewhat), we use the tactic on each other and (much to each other's frustration) it works every time.
