he's such a goodie

Dad is doing so well.

For having major surgery early yesterday morning Dad is so good.  This photo is from this afternoon and now he is off of all the tubes and machines.  Hopefully, soon, he will be headed to his new room out of the Intensive Care Unit.

If all keeps going this well, he will be headed home very soon.

I am just so grateful to have my father.  He is so awesome with a great sense of humor, we have been laughing all through his recovery.  He told us the first thing he said when he came out of his anesthesia was a joke, but the doctor didn't think it was too funny.

Dad: "Will I be able to play the piano?"

Doc: "Where you able to before?"

Dad: "Well, no."
