a splash of red and green

For the past month or so, these red Pyrex babies have been calling my name in the display window of Mom and Me.  This is on of the town's handful of interesting retailers - a floral boutique - so they have all sorts of old and fun things.  They always put in a great display window and this month's has a slew of hot red summer items.  Yesterday, I couldn't resist and bought 'em.  They just seem the best two little dears to serve summer berries or winter jams.

 

At the grocery story (Martin's) Mom and I were greeted at checkout with these beautiful paper bags.  (I try to always get paper if I don't have my lovely little fold up green bag because paper is easier to recycle.)  The store had children decorate them for earth day.  The bag right under this one had a giant blue and green earth on it.  It was so cute.  I wish that my checkout bags always had the drawings of children on them.  I almost let him give me two bags, but that would be counteractive.
