Mr. D had been threatening to bring in his mother's old kitchen utensils for about a week now and today he delivered.

These blenders were my favorite. I do remember having one growing up and I hope to have one again some day. Complete control over beater speed.

I found this intriguing. This handle has been mended.

The repair is quite beautiful. It has three grommets. I can just imagine the late Mrs. D stirring away with this beater and it snapping. I imagine Mr. D taking it out to the shed and "rigging something up."
