Ghosts in the Garden.

The morning of October brings the first Frost. Mother bundled up all the flowers in the garden in bed sheets. The peppers got a blanket. Her roses and dahlias were all tucked in last night. We even went to the shop and covered up the roses in the courtyard and brought in the begonias. All fared well. The frost was kept at bay and winter ended off just a bit longer.
