It wouldn't be Fall without...

Cross Country and Football! The two youngest brothers both are very into their athletics, amongst their other various high school activities. This makes for a pretty full schedule.

Lewis is on the right. We fondly call him the moving tree. But from the sidelines J, Mom, Dad and I yell, "Go Lew!" as loud as we can. His meets are THE Tuesday evening and Saturday morning events.

Zachary, the baby brother/Freshman, he's the football player. Each of my brothers have played the game. J and Sam eventually playing with their teams at the state championships, while Josiah and Lewis decided to take up Cross Country. So it is that Zachary is the latest in a family tradition of Thursday nights in the bleacher. He plays on the line and dons the #61 - just like his big brothers and Dad.

This is just the year opener. There will be plenty of games, meets, plays, musicals, concerts, ceremonies and events in the years to come. It is such a change to actually be here for them and not just get the photos in my e-mail the next day. That's my small town life.
