On a Hot Day...

When the sun is feirce and the humidity thick, there is only one thing left to do.

St Joseph is a small town in Michigan - about a forty-five minute drive, an hour is your me, from home. It has a great beach and wonderful downtown for a post swim stroll and ice cream.

Though the beach was quite enticing when the family was younger, now we are all a bit more resentful to sand and the sun, our favorite activity is walking out on the pier. My favorite is to, on a nice day, jump off the side. This should be done with caution...there are signs that state this very fact. But it's great fun and no sharks or bitter-salty after taste to worry about.

After that stroll down a long pier, it's ice cream time downtown. St. Joe always has something fun to see in it's downtown. Right now there are various carousel animals that have been decorated for themes. I have personally never encountered a Llama on a carousel - but I think they should be included.
