The Day the President Came to Town.
It was a hopping day. That is for sure. People where gathered all around town and the news cameras were rolling. Quickly in, quickly out and gave a twenty-five minute speech. It was quite a day.People had their signs. I had my camera and a press pass. I was given the rare opportunity of taking photos of the President in my own hometown. Then came the responsibility of letting the rest of the town see what I saw. We published this week's edition of the Wakarusa Tribune with 16 pages...twice that of its normal 8. Seven interior pages covered and photos and a complete text of the speech given. It is something to be proud of.
